For the second consecutive year, Intech has earned a spot in Engineering News Record's annual Top 600 Specialty Contractors list. Published annually, the list ranks specialty contractors nationwide according to the previous year's revenue.
Intech has been awarded a $19.8 million contract by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for painting the railroad through truss portions of the Huey P. Long Bridge near New Orleans, LA. Opened in 1935 and widened in 2013, the bridge carries US 90 and railroad over the Mississippi River. The highway portions of the truss were painted under a previous contract.
Intech has been featured in the March 2016 bonus issue of the Journal of Protective Coatings and Linings. The company was listed in the "Market Drivers: The Top Players in 2015 Infrastructure Coating," ranking third in Most Painting Money Awarded for bridge structure projects in 2015. Intech's Crescent City Connection project in New Orleans was also named the #2 coating contract of 2015.

(Nov. 30, 2015) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has awarded contracts for emergency repairs on two well-used bridges in central Kentucky – the historic “Singing Bridge” in downtown Frankfort and the Kennedy Mill Bridge on Lake Herrington, which carries KY 152 between Mercer and Garrard counties.

Intech has been awarded a $17.7 million contract by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for painting and repair work on the US 90 Eastbound Crescent City Connection (GNO 2) Bridge. Opened in 1988, the bridge is one of the longest cantilever bridges in the world, along with it's older Westbound twin. It is the closest highway crossing to the mouth of the Mississippi River and carries four lanes of US 90 traffic as well as two alternating-direction HOV lanes.

On Thursday, June 25, 2015, the University of Kentucky College of Engineering dedicated the David & Margaret Houchin Intech Contracting Construction Management Lab along with three other teaching and laboratory spaces. The spaces will be used by the college’s Department of Civil Engineering.
