The Biggs Rapids - Sam Hill Memorial Bridge carries US 97 over the Columbia River, connecting Washington and Oregon at the eastern end of the Columbia River Gorge. The bridge is an important crossing for commercial truck traffic. This project involved blast cleaning and painting the single through truss span and all of the girder approaches.
