The Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge carries six lanes of US 181 over the Corpus Christi Ship Channel at its entrance to the Port of Corpus Christi, one of the largest ports in the U.S. by cargo volume. This project involved blast cleaning and painting the truss spans and overcoating the girder approach spans, all while maintaining access for ship traffic below. Corpus Christi is also one of the windiest areas in the country. This project was featured in a 2010 issue of the Journal of Protective Coatings and Linings.
